About four weeks ago I noticed an odd “flutter” near a tooth (#31; lower right side). Fast forward: I need a root canal treatment, and it’ll be three weeks until I can get it.

This is disheartening because I’ve been doing oil pulling religiously for the past six months. But when you have 24 cavities by age 7 🙄 there are repercussions. I miss my mom today and think of how her own dental work required a home equity loan to fix.

Mercifully, sometimes the pain slips into remission. Other times, it feels like a railroad spike has been inserted horizontally into my ear canal. My weekend has been a haze of Reddit interaction during the former and sleep and prayers for mercy during the latter.

So! What are the rest of us up to this weekend?
