Hello. I’d like to find a connection here that is fun, easygoing, and that can build into something meaningful and long lasting. Ultimately, I’d like to find my forever person, my ‘one’, my other half or whatever other word or phrase you’d like to use. But that puts way too much pressure on the situation, so let’s just start with a conversation.

Now to get this out of the way up top: I currently live with my parents, and I have now for a little over 10 years ever since my little brother was paralyzed in a car accident. At the time I was living and working hundreds of miles away, and it became obvious pretty quickly that my parents could use help. So I quit my job and moved into their basement. I found a new job, and I’m now one my brother’s main caregivers. You do what you have to for the people you love, right? But I can understand it if this gives folks out there some pause or just turns them off entirely.

If you’re still here, then let’s get to some basics.

Physically: I’m white with red hair, a red beard and freckles. I’m right around 6-feet tall. I’m overweight, but I am currently working on weight loss. I wear glasses.

Hobbies/Interests: I’m a nerd with several nerdy interests. Video games, board games, DnD, and comics. I, like most people, enjoy reading (fiction mostly), and watching TV and movies. I also enjoy watching sports. I watch history and true crime documentaries.

I tend to be a homebody who enjoys getting out from time-to-time. I’m a bit introverted, and it can take me a bit to warm up to new people. I don’t drink. I don’t smoke. I’ve never been married, and I don’t have kids. Politically, I tend to be more conservative leaning, though I’m not a huge fan of politics in general. I know that matters to some people. I’m a Christian, though I’m not the type to try to force my beliefs on another.

I’m caring, kind-hearted, sweet, honest, and maybe a bit odd. I have a witty, sarcastic sense of humor that I inherited from my dad. I always try to be a good person, though I may not always be successful.

I want to find someone that makes my life happier, and whose life I can make happier in return. I would love to find someone with common interests, so we can share them together. I would also love to hear about things that you enjoy. I want to find someone who loves deeply and cares for the people around them.

I don’t really have a type, physically. I don’t mind if you’re petite or if you have “a little extra” as long as you’re trying to take care of yourself. I am looking for a cis female. I ask that you don’t smoke and not drink excessively. A cute face with a nice smile and kind eyes goes a long way for me.

I imagine this will start as long distance as this is the internet, but the goal would be to come together eventually if this works out. That would likely mean relocating to me. I’m not going to limit myself to those in the US, but since I’m a little geographically locked due to my responsibilities to my brother, it would be preferred. It would probably make things easier to meet should things get that far.
