My goal is to talk to someone, establish a connection, and be in a relationship. Boom! Easy! I wish. I want to have a normal conversation about normal things. No interview. No pressure. I am looking to add some happiness and love to my life. Open to anyone from anywhere. Please read below.
About me:
I was born and raised in good ol' Texas. I grew up in a small town then moved to another small town then moved to the suburbs. I love Texas despite its countless faults, but I will be exploring new states and new cities following my studies. I don't know where I want to settle, but it can be anywhere. My goal is to become a physician, so I am in the midst of that journey. I am of South Asian descent.
Hobbies/Interests:
I believe a connection is more important to a relationship than sharing the same hobbies/interests. It would be nice to have similar interests, but it's not necessary.
- Movies and TV (Sci-fi, horror, and crime): "Inception", "Godzilla Minus One", "The Thing" (1982), "Shutter Island".
- Exercising, especially running. I love running outside, especially in parks and on trails. I do enjoy lifting too, and I attend the gym frequently.
- Food (Thai, Mediterranean, and Indian). I enjoy exploring various cuisines at restaurants and love trying new recipes when cooking at home.
- Reading. "Percy Jackson...", "Eragon", "Skullduggery...", "Robinson Crusoe", "Small is Beautiful Economics as if People Mattered"
- Boardgames (Arboretum & Mysterium) and videogames (on occasion) (Skyrim, Infamous, GoW, Horizon Zero Dawn)
- Nature-y stuff. I find solace in the outdoors, wandering through serene landscapes and appreciating nature's abundant beauty.
- Sports (Tennis, volleyball, disc golf)
I would eventually like to pickup a few more interests such as learning how to play the piano and the violin. Who knows? Maybe we can pickup something together....
What I seek in a partner:
I am searching for someone who values a healthy and active lifestyle, someone who takes care of themselves physically. While physical compatibility is important, I value diverse body types and prioritize a shared commitment to overall wellness. Intimacy and romance are significant to me, placing high importance on physical affection. Building stronger connections through openness and vulnerability is crucial to me, and I deeply appreciate the intimacy it fosters. I desire a partner who values companionship and reciprocity, understanding that mutual effort and appreciation are fundamental. I'm drawn to qualities like open-mindedness, calmness, and versatility in a potential partner. I just want a lot of sugar, a dash of spice, and chemical X.
Personality:
I consider myself a blend of reserved and adventurous, leaning towards seriousness yet showcasing a playful side when I'm comfortable with someone. In movie terms, a mix of Neo Clarice Sterling sprinkle of Ferris Bueller. Sarcasm and good-natured teasing are my occasional indulgences. I find comfort in being a homebody, but I do emerge from my cave. I strive to go the extra mile for my partner.
Physical Description:
Currently, my hair cascades in mid-neck-length waves with a subtle curl at the end. I am a fan of the clean-shaven aesthetic, but I occasionally sport well-maintained stubble. My complexion is a true caramel that is complemented by dark brown eyes. I have a slim-to-average physique with broad shoulders and a visible jawline. I stand at a height of 5'7".
Religion & Politics:
I identify as a non-resistant nonbeliever, akin to agnosticism, a term I stumbled upon during my college philosophy course, and it resonated with me. Although I grew up attending a Christian church and my undergraduate school was Catholic, my parents practice Hinduism, offering me exposure to various beliefs. However, I'm personally not religious. I'm open-minded towards all religious affiliations and welcome the opportunity to learn about different faiths.
Similarly, my political stance isn't easily boxed into conservative or democratic ideologies. I value the continuous evolution of my political beliefs, emphasizing independent thinking and the avoidance of polarizing partisan politics. I believe in the importance of being challenged to foster growth and maintain my autonomy of thought and action. How many congressmen does it take to change a light bulb? What is your answer? My answer is none. They prefer to keep everybody in the dark!
Kids & Pets:
I've made the decision not to have children. For me, it's about prioritizing my partner, hobbies, and career. It's a personal lifestyle choice that allows me to dedicate myself fully to these areas. My partner holds the top spot in my life, and I couldn't imagine it any other way.
I opt not to have pets due to lifestyle constraints, financial considerations, and personal preferences. I simply have no interest in having pets, but I'd be willing to accommodate.
- I value consistent communication. I believe regular conversation forms a stronger connection. If you're not interested, honesty is appreciated – I won't take it personally. Feel free to reach out. I will provide a face picture in chat.
