I want my dating life to change in the new year because I donāt want to be single in 2024. As yāall know, Iām tired of being single as I have been the last 4, approaching 5 years. Too many games are being played because I feel like no one takes dating seriously and I donāt have any luck going out. I live in the Triangle (think Raleigh) region of NC, so I am only looking locally in case there is a chance to meet but Iām open to other parts of the state. Iām tired of men reaching out then saying they arenāt looking for anything serious or arenāt ready or they donāt communicate at all.
About me: I am 24 years young and a straight female. Physically, I am a petite and curvy natural redhead. I graduated with my bachelors this year (I know, but everyone goes at different paces) and will be working towards my masters. Since I work with kids and plan to keep working with them, I do not want any of my own. Politically, I call myself a progressive liberal. It may be a turnoff to some but when I was four I was diagnosed with Aspergerās, now under the autism spectrum umbrella. It does not affect me as much as an adult compared to when I was younger. Iām a diehard Carolina Hurricanes fan and love going to their games. I also love animals, crafts, writing, baking/cooking, supporting local, and working out.
What I look for in a man: I want someone educated because I want to have intelligent conversations and someone who has similar family plans and political beliefs. My preferred age range is 24-36 but Iām open to dating up to 40 if there is a genuine connection. Physically, I like men who are tall, in shape or working on it because I am working on my physical health and want someone who I can share that goal with, and who have a little scruff or beard and dimples. I donāt mind tattoos or piercings since I have some too and I find myself mainly attracted to white or Native American guys. I do not smoke tobacco or weed nor do I use recreational drugs, so I donāt want to date someone with those vices. I drink sometimes but not all the time. Important character traits to me are kindness, honesty, patience, clear communication, and open-mindedness.
What I hope to get out of this: forming a connection with the right person and eventually starting a long-term, monogamous relationship. I politely request that you reach out via chat and include a picture, if you want to see me I have one on my profile. The following are reasons why I do not respond: if you are not local, if you ask for my snap or number, or if you just say āhey beautifulā and nothing more, or if you are not within my age range. I know this is a long post and I sound difficult to please, I promise Iām not. I know what I want and what my dating intentions are, so Iām not wasting my time.
