I want to be a Database Admin simply put. I recently applied for a job to be a database analyst and was only beat out by one person. I went ahead and got my PHP Certificate through w3schools. ( It was SQL and PHP). I also did Microsoft Technology Associate: Database Administration fundamentals.

I did these in a matter of a month to try and get a leg up on everyone else applying for that job. However even though I didn't get the job I fill that the pay and work is something I am very interested in.

now here is the question where do I go now? what certs should I do? I have a AS in computer Science and AS in business I am going to go for my BS in computer information systems management. Please share anything you can I am really wanting a change in my lifestyle and I believe that this may be a way to make that happen.
