New person really in need of help.
Post Body

Ok so here is what I am dealing with at the moment and any help would be very much appreciated.

I applied for a database analyst job and got a interview for it. Problem is I never used SQL in a work environment. Now before you reply let me clarify. I have used PHPAdmin to recover word press passwords for admin accounts. I also understand the basic SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE and REPLACE commands. I also have a moderate understanding of Visual Basic Applications. ( I use that daily for my current job).

I have a week to study this stuff and gain a well enough understanding before I go for my interview. I have a laptop I plan on using to study and practice on so basically my questions are below.

Can I set up a test environment on the laptop so I can create, update, add and delete. Databases,Tables, rows ect. Is there a guide you could point me to?

The current situation where I work is I have almost all day to train however I am very limited to outside internet which means I would pre-load everything at home and train during the day.

Any information would be much appreciated.

I understand there is different forms of SQL MYSQL, SQLite, and PostgreSQL. Which is the most common and would I be right to understand there is only slight differences between the language?

Again any help would be much appreciated.
