Hi all, hopefully you can help. I have a very old Buffalo ls-wxl, it has 2x2tb hds inside I'm trying to recover. The unit itself no longer works, won't connect and has a corrupt bios, according to what I can diagnose.
I removed the drives from their case, connected them to a windows 10 machine and tried to recover the info using "Disk Internals Linux Reader" software. It connects, the drives load and I can see their contents.
When I go to copy a folder to my main drive, the program starts searching, and searches for over an hour, with a progress bar just doing nothing.
Would I be able to put these drives in a Linux machine, mount them to get the data off, rather than using windows software?
