Please pardon yet another opinion request thread.
Need a RAID configuration for redundancy. Minimum 4TB useable storage(would prefer a bit more if feasible.) I've been looking at either a synology 2 drive bay or a buffalo NAS with included drives.
I wanted to see if there were any product Recommendations for drives or NAS. Currently lost on amazon and new egg searches. Are drives bigger than 4tb less stable? Not above shucking drives. But Im not really feeling up to building my own rig.
Also any pointers on what i can expect with set up? I have about 3 TB that need to be stored and am worried about moving it around off an already shaky external 4tb.
