Making Dashlane VPN work on Linux
Post Body

Hi! I just switched to Dashlane and seeing that it comes with a VPN, I'd also like to be able to set it up on my main PC, which runs Linux.

From my current understanding Dashlane's VPN uses Hotspot Shield, which in turn uses OpenVPN. (From https://support.dashlane.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000037900-VPN-Frequently-Asked-Questions#title1-4)

Hotspot Shield has a Linux command line client: https://support.hotspotshield.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039016812-Is-Hotspot-Shield-supported-on-Linux-, and what's more important, it has the ability to generate .ovpn configuration files (shown here for example: https://support.hotspotshield.com/hc/en-us/articles/360037248872-How-do-I-install-Hotspot-Shield-on-my-FreshTomato-router-).

This in turn means, that given a Hotspot Shield account I can get it working on any OpenVPN client. Is it possible to get the server address and login credentials for an OpenVPN server from within Dashlane?
