Can I use 7omai dash cam without Bluetooth?

I installed this about a week ago and keep having trouble with it. To use this dash cam does it have to be connected to my phones Bluetooth? Because I use Android car play.
Also, my phone always randomly restarts when connected to my car play, it never used to restart before this. But it happens a few times a week while driving. Even before getting the dash cam.
Any recommendations for good dash cams under $50 are also appreciated because I may have to return this one
