Im going to point out what I like and what I dont like about DkS2 so far, I'm only three bosses into it and still have waaay more to go, but heres some stuff I noticed
I feel like the characters in 2 are some of the most memorable so far, and it feels like theres way more of them. In 3 I actually missed a person or two, and didn't finish many questlines.
I've said it before, but Im blown away by the maping and scenery. I feel like Im actually exploring the world (Im taking things very, very slow. Im exploring everywhere at the same time, making multiple trips back to each area) and it feels like Im seeing how nature acts better in this one, if that makes sense.
The bosses are pretty easy. I one go'ed the first two (Dragonrider and Giant) and took three tries on that Persuer, one try I didn't die I just h-boned home. Their movesets are just basic, and easy to read, still awesome fights though!
I know some of you are going to call bull on this, but that Estus animation is too damn slow.
I still miss the cohesive looping maps, that werent even on three
Thats all I can really think of so far, but let me say that I honestly think this is my favorite Dark Souls just because it feels so much more immersive to me with the character and map designs
