Okay I’m not old. But I mean, I’m in the middle of Haunting Adeline and loving it so much. BUT what always gets to me about these books is how unlike my life they are. The FMC is always young and sexy and single and childfree and so on. But in Haunting Adeline (please no spoilers, I’ve been very careful not to read anything to ruin the ending for me yet!), she’s focusing on her great grandmother and her stalker. But she was married and a mother at the time.

Are there any recs for books that follow that sort of FMC?? Married, mid 30’s and up, has kids and a life built but enter tall, dark stranger? Can be single or dual POV, I don’t mind. (But I am learning how much I love his POV as well)

No triggers for me and I am absolutely more than okay with dark and spicy. Spicy is a huge requirement as well.

I know I’m probably wishful thinking but I figured I’d ask.
