I don’t have any inside knowledge, no leaks to speak of. This is just an educated guess, and I’ll show you why I think so.

Back when the Quarry was about to release, I went to my PS4 store searching for it, but, I found nothing. Now I was weirded out coz I knew that it was ready to be pre-ordered, I saw the Supermassive Twitter account advertising that. So what gives? Well, it was on the Store, but not in MY country, though. You can see where I’m going with this?

So, I live in a place that is known for being pretty homophobic, so The Quarry wasn’t in my store because my country didn’t allow queer people being showcased, i.e.; It had *The Gays* Dylan and Ryan being all gay & flirty & stuff. My Country’s PS4 store had a track record for doing this; for example, the Last of us Part II isn’t in my country’s store since it has an openly gay relationship with two of the Female Leads, Dina & Ellie.

I booted up my American account on PS4, opened the Store, and then, lo & behold, The Quarry was right there ready for Pre-orders.

And so, the same thing happened with The Devil in me. None of the other Dark Pictures games were unavailable in my Country’s Store, only The Devil in me. Checked my American account and it was there in the Store.

So, logically I thought, who could be gay other than Jamie? Mark and Kate have their own relationship drama, and, well, I can‘t honestly perceive them making Charlie gay coz, why? Not much evidence to support that he’s *NOT* gay, I just think Jamie has a higher chance.

So, getting on track again. Jamie and Erin would be the only logical possibility for a gay relationship. Jamie doesn’t seem to like Kate, and plus Kate has her own baggage with Mark to deal with. Also not Mark and Charlie coz, Ew.

From the few snip-bits we got of the Game, Jamie seems to really care about Erin, offering her help to Erin and being pretty protective. Doesn’t Seem typical of Jamie to be care so much.

Ofcourse, there could be other reasons for TDIM to not be in my Country’s story, but judging from past actions, I can safely assume that my country was probably scared of two girls being, you know… ~ROOMMATES~
