Darius vs Irelia?

I keep reading that Irelia is really bad into Darius but it's the hardest champ for me and idk why. She wins every all in after missing E and W just from auto attack. I don't even walk through her R marks. Sometimes she can miss R and still win from right clicking me. Is the rework that good? I even try to ensure she has 0 stacks when I engage, she misses everything, outdmgs with autos
