Darius interactions with Kindred Ult?

I know allied kindred ulties will allow you to apply stacks but do enemy kindred ulties do that as well? Sometimes I genuinely feel like Im not applying stacks in enemy kindred ults so Im just wondering how the interaction works, it doesn't say this on the wiki or anywhere so just wondering
