Isn't Trinity too expensive?
Post Body

I've started seeing a lot of people on this sub recommend Trinity > Steraks but I honestly never understood why trinity was that good. I mean I understand the attack speed, sheen procs and fat damages vs squishies are all really nice but honestly by the time you finally complete it, won't most ranged squishies end up popping you with ease before you even have a chance to deal damage? Everytime I get trinity I feel like I just delay my tankiness and put myself so behind and feel so squishy overall, even when I'm snowballing I feel as though I'm throwing my lead, whereas with Cleaver > Steraks you get most of the things you need (CDR, Damage, More Hp) all at way cheaper and can get tankier faster, or even rush a steraks quicker for more damage against squishes while still being durable. Many people also say to take this against duelist champs such as riven fiora and comps that are squishy but against both Riven, Fiora and champs of that nature, isn't Darius' win condition to stack tank stats so he can just get em with passive, for example rushing bramble vest vs Fio and chain vest/warden mail vs Riven. For the price of trinity force I could get a Cleaver and a chain vest and just become more unkillable.

I honestly think Trinity force, although it deals pretty dank damage, is just too expensive to be worth it, and makes you squishy for too long delaying your tank stats, is there anything I'm doing wrong or should be doing to make this work, or is this as ineffective as I'm making it out to be?
