I used to be a very adamant grasp user ever since the keystones came out because I never liked stormraiders and press the attack just seemed really bad to me, I was struggling pretty hard while using grasp and I just blamed it on Darius being bad at the time, when I heard they were buffing Grasp I was ecstatic and told myself to keep using it so I'd get used to the playstyle of having slower attack speed and knowing how to play around grasp, but the buff never came and I was struggling once more, but then I saw this post and this guide which motivated me to try out Phase rush and I gotta say I went from being hardstuck Plat V to winning 6 games in a row (8 if you dismiss the game where I inted as yorick in between) and getting promoted. Now one could argue that I didn't carry some of these, or that I had easy matchups or chalk it up to it being trashinum elo, however I really do feel as though Phase Rush with precision secondary (for alacrity) is the most optimal, not only do you get the damage from the sorc tree but you get the AS from alacrity over time allowing you to weave more autos, Phase Rush also allows you to have huge presence mid game where grasp barley does, Phase Rush is even beneficial when behind because if the enemy laner tries to engage you you can just E, auto, W and run while theyre slowed, or you could E, auto, Q while running to distance yourself from cc abilities like Jax stun or Riven stun, So to all Darius mains still using Grasp I implore you to switch over to Phase Rush
TL;DR Phase Rush is better than grasp because it gives you presence mid game and works as a viable escape option when behind, I may be trash but it worked for me and I think it'll work for most people using grasp as well, It allows you to have both the damage from sorc tree and AS from alacrity in the precision tree
Don't be some useless lumbering tank, be the 1v9 dunk machine you were meant to be
