Hi everyone! Though I feel like I accomplished or at least spearheaded a good bit so far in a baby-step manner, I realise that I've fallen somewhat inactive this past week or so mostly due to moving countries and getting ready for school. This relative inactivity will likely continue, though I'd still like to at least finish the embassy row and have one more hockey game before the end of my term, which are both quite close to being accomplished!

In order to combat this and future inacivity from government officials, I'd like to announce the following two items:

1) The authority of the existing Consuls of the Provinces shall expand to cover all ministries, not just the Interior Ministry. This means that, in addition to their already assigned IM duties, they will also assume first-priority authority in matters relating to defence and foreign affairs as outlined in the constitution and may only be overruled by the national Minister(s). And like last time, they will only have this authority within their assigned provinces.

2) When I delegated the first Consuls of the Provinces last week, I specifically did not include one for NDZ. This is because I did not know who else would be best for the job who I had not already named a Consul for another province, as well as because I thought I would be active enough to take care of it myself. While our defences have been fine and a zoning map was completed, I know this will likely not last forever, and so I wanted to take the proactive step in announcing the New Danzilonan Council. This council will assume the powers of the expanded Consuls of the Provinces, taking on the role of IM, DM, and FM solely for NDZ. Instead of picking just one person, I would like to pick multiple people who hold this authority with the hope that they would cooperate in NDZ affairs. This council will include the following people:

• All previously delegated Consuls of the Provinces (including Qaad and excluding Der, who has not yet accepted his role as Consul of Melia and will not be grandfathered into the council if he does. Sorry!).

As with before, I ask that these appointments remain into and throughout the next term so long as they continue to perform their duties. Please let me know if anyone needs access to any groups to make this new power dynamic happen. Thanks!
