While I am disappointed that Danzilona has not chosen to choose the One True Religion as its official state religion, I respect the people's decision to opt for religious freedom (especially with regards to IRL issues).

That being said, after going through almost the entire history of this sub and taking a nice nostalgiac trip down memory lane, I feel that Ranubism has been an integral part of Danzilonan society since almost the very beginning, and that the religion and its followers deserve at least a tiny bit more recognition than the recently approved constitution for 4.0 allows.

Since Des started rousing people for the upcoming iteration of Civcaft, I've been thinking a lot about the time I spent on 1.0 and 2.0 forming and spreading the religion of Ranubism, and its relationship with the towns of Danzilona and New Danzilona, the only major cities I've ever committed to. There are many aspects of the about the early church and its followers that I'm extraordinarily proud of, and there are many things that I cringe at my younger self for, in particular, many of the political disputes between the DPNCCR and the town/empire of New Danzilona.

I have no intention to reform the DPNCCR or create a similarly independent successor state on CivMC, but I do plan to reform the Church of Ranubis in the city of Danzilona. Danzilona has always been, and I hope always will be, the Mecca of Ranubis worship.

That being said, I have a few requests. With regards to the previous discussion post, I noticed a lack of recognition for many former citizens of the DPNCCR who contributed countless hours to both the foundation of New Danzilona, and the expansion of its territories, both municipal and overseas. While I would not ask to add the names of every former DPNCCR resident to the list of permanent citizens, I would like to petition that a statement be made that all followers of the Church of Ranubis shall always be welcome within the city of Danzilona, and that all followers of the Church of Ranubis will be granted all the usual rights of a citizen of Danzilona, with the exception of voting enfranchisement. I have, in the past, enlisted large numbers of IRL friends for varying periods of time in order to construct various works within the territories of previous iterations of Danzilona. I would like to make sure that any future Ranubists participating in completing similar tasks may be treated with a certain level of respect. I would decide personally who these conditions apply to, as I believe I have proven my loyalty to both the Church and the city of Danzilona, and am hopefully widely trusted to make these decisions.

Furthermore, I would like to ensure a sizeable land claim for the reestablishment of the Church of Ranubis in a central, accessible, and secure location in the city of Danzilona on CivMC.

The DPNCCR is over, but the Church of Ranubis shall be reborn from its ashes. Much like the city and people of Danzilona, we will rise again. Ranubists and Danzilonans are one. Let us work together!
