With the election now out the way I think it would be a good time to start turning our attention back towards choosing a flag. Most of the work seems to have been done already so hopefully now it's just a matter of voting on the flags, as we have plenty of suggestions (hats off to /u/petlahk for that).

These are our current proposals (I'll add /u/redshyguy's design soon, but for now you can view it here) so, assuming there are no objections, the plan is that this thread will remain open for two days so that any last-minute suggestions can be made. We'll then have a nomination thread open for another two days, where everyone can nominate two (maybe three?) flags to carry forwards to the vote, just to narrow things down so we're not all having to rank 21 flags. After that we'll have a two day vote using AV and then we should hopefully have our design within a week!

This thread will close at 23:00 BST, September 2nd (though I'll likely be asleep at that time so don't expect the nomination thread until the next morning).
