With the announcement of 3.0 (date TBA), I thought this would be a great opportunity to once again thank everyone that has contributed to our little experiment in the , called New Danzilona. Officially started more than two years ago (May 19, 2013), it has been filled with a myriad of amazing events and people.

Thinking about wrapping things up for 2.0, here are some things I came up with. What are your thoughts?

1. Maps/world save - I have a large mapping file that includes all of the DZF territory. I also make frequent trips around NDZ with world downloader thanks to Rancuneus, but I've also made sure to frequently update the file with places like Bablyon, RF, Hogham, EV, etc. These aren't snapshots in time, unfortunately, but the most up-to-date versions of those places the last time I visited. If the admins don't make a version of the map for us to download, I'll figure out a way to share this with those that are interested.

2. Names of contributors - If you can think of any people that lived in NDZ, add them to Des' memorial near the community chests. While it is just a sign in a game, it feels great to remember those who have contributed.

3. Remaining wealth - I don't know about you, but I am sitting on some wealth. Any ideas on what we can do with it?

4. End of the world party - Track and I came across a hole to the void during one of our mining trips. We didn't mention it much for fear that the admins would seal it up, but it could be a fitting location for NDZ's end of the map celebration/lamentation. What do you think? Other locations possibly?
