I'm not sure how serious I may be about running one, and this probably isn't gonna be posted on the sub, so i'm gonna make it pretty brief.
Since my last post They've added a sort of faction points, and expansion thing that basically allows factions to expand and gain territory, as well as to get bonuses from owning said territory. While it may make a civcraft attempt in starmade slightly more war-like, it allows controlling systems well to be worth more. While the ability to own systems and large areas of space as a faction or civilization is cool, what makes it so neat is that there is an option you can set that makes faction homebases destructible if their faction points drop below zero. While this doesn't completely negate problems from indestructibility it certainly reduces them.
They also changed the galaxy system to include wormholes, and to be generally more interesting.
While the problem of setting a boundary on the maximum area players can be in still isn't possible, the other three problems I listed in my previous post are now possible to overcome to some degree.
