I have noticed within the last few days several problems that arise from this article. In regards to Niches, and various other practices within the Danzmarket. I will attempt to outline my concerns while avoiding drama as best I can.

1) There are several problems with article 5, the main one of which is 5.1, and will be the focus of this post. Article 5.1 introduces high possibilities for the potential control of the market through one central figure. I have already seen evidence of such control through the niche system, and while it has been mild, I do express concern that one person could potentially "own" or mess with things within the market. a) One person (the lorax) has the potential to convince the people in the market not to allow another person to "use" or sell products within their "niche", this drastically affects trade, and the general atmosphere of New Danzilona. b) While I admit that an overflow of competition within New Danzilona may become bad for the economy, completely restricting trade, (as the above allows) is equally bad. Slight competition among the citizens of NDZ is good for prices, and the economy of NDZ. c) By completely restricting trade the chances of unstocked shops goes up. If there are more unstocked shops, foreign buyers will be less likely to want to use the Danzmarket, and will thus take their business else where. However, if multiple people are allowed to freely set up shops within a "niche", if one shop is unstocked, the chances of foreign buyers still finding what they are looking for goes up. d) The general idea that "niches" within the town can be controlled by one person greatly contributes to drama within the town. By requiring for people to ask permission to sell within a "niche" the chances of communistic, and bureaucratic ideals, and practices within the town drastically increase. As I pointed out before, one person who "represents" the market, has the ability to convince people to put a choke on their "niches", which is bad for the economy, and sales.

2) Based on reading the other articles within article 5, I can say that the "Lorax" has almost complete control over "niches" and the say of the market, which is bad for the economy, and causes the afore mention drama.

3) Allowing Forgien, or at the very least, trade from the surrounding towns with in NDZ contributes to the overall economy of the area, and while bad in large amounts, is not good with the restrictions currently placed on the Danzmarket

I would now like to call for a re-vote on the various articles within article 5, and I hope that I have not caused too much more drama over this.

Edit: I wrote the post with the idea in mind that the Danzmarket Act restricts the trade of the entire town. I did this as there is concern that people building outside of it would cause problems, which is forseeable, and while not all of the act is bad, there are obvious problems with the articles above.

Edit: The things seen in this article are definitely spilling into the entire town, and not staying in the market, even if the act was written for just the Danzmarket
