Taking into your thoughts on my original proposal to change Article 12, I've backed off the major changes and have settled to change just a few things.

12.2 currently reads:

The City manager will act as head of the treasury. He/She will monitor and keep records of its income and expenses. The City Manager may spend the city funds as they see fit so long as they remain within the standard categories of spending.

I suggest we change this to say:

The City manager will appoint a Treasurer to act as head of the treasury during their term. He/She will monitor and keep records of its income and expenses. The City Manager Treasurer may spend the city funds as they see fit so long as they remain within the standard categories of spending.

And aside from that just change City manager anywhere else it appears in Article 12 to Treasurer.

Vote 'Aye' if you're in favor of this passing.

Vote 'Nay' if you oppose.
