Sorry for my recent inactivity, I've been busy at work lately and in real life. :/

So, after re-thinking my political beliefs I realized I wasn't cut out for Social Democracy. While I still favor the system in real life I disagree with its implementation in Minecraft, but this post is not a knock on Social Democracy. It's a good system, but I can no longer go along with it.

With my stepping down from the Social Democracy Party (SDP), I have decided to create my own party that more accurately reflects my views, the Traditionalist Party (normally I would've just called it the Conservative Party but that has pretty negative connotations in America thanks to the Tea Party and Fox News).

We will act as true conservatives (no bible-thumping, racism, or DEA), striving to promote private individual freedoms and enterprise. We believe in a small government with little power, run by the people. The people in a direct democracy are the government so we see it only fair to let them rule themselves accordingly. Essentially, the Traditionalist Party will stand for merely being administrators and organizers of the town when elected, and passing laws when there is a great demand for them that doesn't impose on individuals.

I think this party will add more realism to NDZ and now we can even carry out debates and such for competing candidates in elections. I'd also like to use this post to announce my intention to run for City Manager in June. Information on my platform will be forthcoming shortly.

Also, if anyone's free we may be having the Swisston/LL make-up hockey game this afternoon around 4 PM EST. 6 PM EST.
