Proposal Thread

Basically, the proposal thread says it all, and since I've submitted two proposals so far I figured we might as well take a vote on it now.

As you can see from this image I uploaded a few days ago, the house numbers will be increasing from West to East and from North to South. Well, I logged on today and did some surveying and discovered that the farthest West road is on 7266x. For the northern most point I measured where the CIC rail station was, but I won't post the co-ordinates here since it's a public sub.

If we make 7266x equal 100, then I can measure the distance to my house by looking at its x co-ordinate. My doors are at 7397x, which when you subtract it from 7266 you get 131.

Add 131 to the 100 and my address becomes 231 TTF Alleyway.

I did this for other places around town to give some examples:

  • Phoenix Library = 271 Library Street

  • Chapel = 321 2nd Street

  • Pathfinder Shops = 269 Castle Parkway

The only potential problem is going over a kilometer, which I don't think happens in this town, but I might have to measure it again. If that's the case then we can make 7266x = 1000 and add onto it from there.

If the vote passes, I'll go around in a few days and put a sign on every property with their address on it, then it is up to the owner to move the sign if they wish but their address must still be displayed in clear view on the front of their property.

If you're in favor, comment Aye.

If you're opposed, comment Nay.
