The bill is as follows:
Basically, this will allow me to turn the inside of the old Cornerstone Office near my house into a tavern/pub. I've made a lot of taverns on other servers and I would happily do this. I don't plan on making money since food is such an easy commodity to acquire.
FOOD: I will take over as head cook/innkeeper but we will have a hopper for food donations. We will always have bread and fish available for free, and I will begin trying to acquire and farm more diverse food, such as cocoa beans, melons, potatoes, carrots, and an animal farm for pork and beef. Food prices are likely going to be in coal merely to fuel the furnaces. Donations will always be welcomed.
INN: The upper floors of the Cornerstone should be able to house 4 small bedrooms and the top floor which previously held a small office can be turned into a penthouse. The four small bedrooms will be free to use by new players, potential citizens, and just people passing through. The penthouse will likely require a tiny fee, mostly just for realism purposes (if someone really wants to feel like a high-roller they can pay one coal for a night).
PRICES: Prices will be determined at a later date. Like I said I don't plan on this being a money-maker and more of just a public service to the town. Prices will be for the rare dishes like mushroom stew or cake and will probably be coal to offset the coal used in cooking. Perhaps food could be free to citizens but cost a little something to foreigners. Again, this isn't part of the vote, these are merely proposals to be voted on at a later date.
COMMUNITY: I would like to spearhead this effort which is why I'm asking to be head cook/innkeeper. I think projects go faster when they follow one man's vision. That being said, for this I'm more than willing to hear community input after the renovations have been made. Also, the tavern name will be decided by the community in a few days via a proposal thread.
Thanks to everyone who voted, I'll begin construction very soon and hope to submit it for your approval! :D
