Not a single car in that clip had a left sided driver, first few all had passengers but all were right hand drive.
North (Chelsea), south side also has a narrow bit cars have to go through too.
The actual bridge is very pretty, especially at night so can't see it ever being replaced. Only real way you could allow larger vehicles on is if you made it one way but theres no real need as there's two bridges either side within less than a mile (Chelsea and Battersea) that larger vehicles can go on. In the west of London there's no shortage of bridges cars can cross over.

Yeah that's what it's for, albert bridge is very old and couldnt support the weight of larger vehicles (safely) and it's also reasonably narrow too hence they restrict wider vehicles (which also tend to be heavier), not that it necessarily stops some drivers attempting to get through, getting stuck and causing traffic jams.
