Not to take away the seriousness of his story but for those who don’t know Australians all that well, it’s imbedded into the culture where one mate says ”you won’t DoOo it” or ”the oLdDd you would’ve done it” or one that hits heavy very well ”you’ve cHaNgEd” in order to peer pressure somebody into doing something out the ordinary. Odds of this have happened to Sam here is high.
