UK. He was in the Navy, war started, he got sent there. They even tried to put him on a submarine but last minute they took him off because of his asthma (after all the training).

My dad was in the Iraq war in the navy. He’s got a medal basically saying that he served there. He’s told me that he got the medal for “doing the governments work”. None of us wanted any of the shit that happened.
