There are all sizes, shapes, and ages at swingers clubs. Yes, clubs can seem cliquish. That's because regulars make friends, and then tend to hang out with them. Don't be shy about introducing yourselves to others there, and you can make friends too. We've found Club Eden to be friendlier than Colette, but you can meet people at any swingers club.
Saturday nights is the time to go. Fridays are hit or miss, weekday evenings are usually really slow. The early crowd, especially at Eden, will be a lot older than you're likely looking to befriend. Don't let that discourage you. There will always be more couples 40 and older than young couples because of how expensive swingers clubs are. But, the later it gets, the more of the older crowd that will leave, and the more younger people will show up. So plan on staying late, if you're wanting to meet people near your age.
At either club, let them know when you pay that it's your first time there, and they will give you a tour of the place. Good luck and have fun.
