Coming from Witchita Falls and looking for updates on routes and weather. My phone already said 287 to 183 is closed and is routing me through Denton.

Edit: Came from Wichita Falls to my apartment on Mockingbird Lane…

• Wichita Falls through Decatur is very “wispy”… lots of snow flurries that cover your view and road lanes. Some ice patchiness and fast drivers don’t make it easy but doable going 55-60mph in what is normally a 75.

• 380 is a mess. Very slushy, icy, and as usual trafficky

• Denton was definitely impacted the hardest.

• 35E south is a slow but doable drive. Still lots of crazies out there trying to go fast. Lots of slush. Stick to a lane and do your best. Some spin outs visible on the side of the highway.

• 35E north is very very slow traffic. From what I could see it’s due to iced inclines forcing people to go one at a time or not at all. Emergency vehicles seen every mile or so.

• 35E south past 635 is just wet, no ice. Took 45 north from 35E south and it was also clean. Just traffic.
