I can’t wait to spend hours bonding with my new son, but I’m also a little nervous. We are working different shifts and I’m taking the afternoon 5 days a week. She’s great with our baby and calms him down almost immediately. Unfortunately I don’t have the same effect during the witching hour. Any pointers from experienced dads on how to keep my boy from screaming me into oblivion for hours on end?
Why is he screaming?
Dirty diaper? Hungry? Bored?
There are alot of reasons for a baby to scream. And it's your (and moms) jobb to learn what typebof scream means what. Yes.. babys screams often sound different depending on what they want.
When my babys hungry it almost sound line "Neey" Dirty diaper is more like the classic "whaaa" And bored is like "Mmuuuhh"
Learn to differentiate the sounds he make, and it will all get alot easier. 😊
