Got plans? Yeah right!!
Post Body

I have a 4 year old and a 4 months old.. Both have zero issue falling asleep at night. In fact, our 4 year old have ADHD, so he gets melatonin every evening.. so he just fall asleep whenever we want him to. 😅

Our 4 months old is litteraly the easiest child ever born.. never complain, almost never cries. Always a smile on her face (even the few times when she cries, she try to smile). And at night, we feed her and she falls asleep mid eating..

BUT!! If me and their mom have plans for the night.. you know, some adult time.. you know what I talk about.. this happens (see image):

Can't focus on one thing for more than 2 seconds.. Constantly loud..

We both work in school with smaller children, and we have learnt to recognise the symptoms, and we suspected way back when he was only 2 that he might have something..

So we contacted the childrens hospital, and we had them investigate it.. the investigation is not done yet, as they think he might have both ADHD and Autism.. a common combo.. but they want to do more to be sure. And the waiting time between sessions are sooooo loooooong here.

So, just a friendly advice: if you have even the slightest suspicion.. have it checked. So that the kid can get the help he/she needs when older. 😊

I mean.. I will be that kind of parent that will be at the school principles throat so that my kid gets what he needs! 😅😊
