How do you give your dad a good Father’s Day.. My dad has always been hard to do Father’s Day because he says things like “if I wanted it I would have bought it” or “why would I want that?” And numerous fathers days he’s been left with nothing but the words given to him because that’s what we’ve learned of him. He can have anything he wants because he works hard, he’s a great example, and he’s got what he needs. Doesn’t need tools. Doesn’t drink so alcohol stuff is not related He doesn’t do anything except watch tv in his spare time. He has the ability to snap his fingers and have what he wants. But what can I give him. For context too, as a broken family, we haven’t had family pictures or anything of the sort for about a decade. So pictures are not the best for this. I’m just feeling inadequate as a son because I can never make the day feel special for him because he could make it good himself if he wanted to. It just seems like a loss for us when we try, only to be criticized about how it isn’t something he needed or wanted.. Please help.. I just want him to know we love him..
