Fathers Day is the hardest day for me.
Post Body

How do you give your dad a good Fatherā€™s Day.. My dad has always been hard to do Fatherā€™s Day because he says things like ā€œif I wanted it I would have bought itā€ or ā€œwhy would I want that?ā€ And numerous fathers days heā€™s been left with nothing but the words given to him because thatā€™s what weā€™ve learned of him. He can have anything he wants because he works hard, heā€™s a great example, and heā€™s got what he needs. Doesnā€™t need tools. Doesnā€™t drink so alcohol stuff is not related He doesnā€™t do anything except watch tv in his spare time. He has the ability to snap his fingers and have what he wants. But what can I give him. For context too, as a broken family, we havenā€™t had family pictures or anything of the sort for about a decade. So pictures are not the best for this. Iā€™m just feeling inadequate as a son because I can never make the day feel special for him because he could make it good himself if he wanted to. It just seems like a loss for us when we try, only to be criticized about how it isnā€™t something he needed or wanted.. Please help.. I just want him to know we love him..
