Hey dad,

My car brakes started being funky today and I’m supposed to drive 3 hours tomorrow. The pedal is needing more pressure to stop and sometimes despite having the brake to the floor, I’m still slowly rolling. Most of the time it’s fine.

I don’t want to drive if this is something I need to get looked at ASAP, but I am sad because I am supposed to be coming home to see mom for the holidays. Wish I could see you too. What do you think about my brakes? Are they maybe just wet? It has been snowing a lot here.
