I'm a 23 year old guy, just graduated a few months ago from college. Despite depression, getting concussions to the head that derailed my anticipated graduation of last year, family medical issues multiple times over, a whole messy process of realizing I'm bi and then had my heartbroken by a guy, and 5 long years of work, I finally properly earned my two bachelor's and my certificate. I went to a career fair and got offered a job at a decent high school. I'm really excited and nervous. I did it without a certificate in education, took the qualifying tests and passed them on the first try, and I had no job experience but they still thought I was a good pick. Part of me just thinks that's because Florida is under a teacher crisis, but I try to tell myself I properly earned it. I wish the guy I called my dad was still hear so I could call and tell him. I like to think he'd be proud. Love you dad.
