I lost both my parents very suddenly, and now at 31 Iām feeling very alone. I keep wanting to text my dad to tell him about things going on in my life cuz I know heād be proud (he was always proud, no matter how small the accomplishment was).
So here I am. Reddit Dads, hereās some things Iām excited about right now.
Iāve sold 12 bead spiders so far, and havenāt even set up my Etsy shop yet!
I got my dna test results back recently, too, and guess what. Iām 100% Irish. I was kind of hoping thereād be something more exciting or unexpected, but nope, haha. Iāve not seen anyone be 100% anything.
My coworker told me that I made her feel āthe most humanā and that I was the kind of person that just makes the world brighter. It made me so happy to hear that (thatās how people talked about my dad, too).
Iāve been playing around with clay recently and learning to make things just because itās fun, not because it has to be perfect or marketable.
