Well in a few hours I’ll be playing my first rugby game its not just any either it has over 500 people in attendance, I’m the youngest person on my team (think 35 year olds and here’s baby me at 19), there might even be some major people with professional/Olympic teams scouting for fresh blood at this but here’s the thing, no one in my family really gives a shit about it my mother won’t even go (stuffy nose but still she could drive me) so it’ll just be me and my dad just awkwardly sitting in a Uber he won’t even see my first two games he might catch my last one I’ve even tried to hype them up by bringing it up but it has little to no effect the only people who genuinely seem happy for me are my team captain and coach and some of the players I suppose I should be happy I get to go but it seems like they think of it as one of my many half assed hobbies
