You know what I hate? Being straight up lied to and gaslighted. Especially by people who claim to be a part of the cannabis community. THCa concentrates turned from a hustle into a scam, really fast. Had they stuck to flower, I’d have been quiet. But accurate COAs are vital to safe consumption of concentrates
Major shout out to this dude for being such a dolt as to brag about his “loophole” “rosin” on YouTube and finally helping me solve this mystery
We’ve all seen the questionable “loophole” hemp THCa products on Reddit. People claim these products contain less than .3% THC by dry weight, making it federally legal and is what distinguishes the product as hemp. The products can have as much THCa in them, which decarbs into THC
What these big brains don’t realize is that some of us know how extraction works. Add heat pressure and THCa naturally decarbs into THC. It’s why you’ll never see an actual, quality cannabis concentrate with THC levels below .3%, let alone rosin
Now check out that COA. Sour Diesel isn’t a hemp strain. Look at D9–how’s that possible for solventless rosin? It’s not. So either the lab falsified results or this guy did it himself
I wonder what contaminants showed up or if the product was even tested for contaminants. Was this even what was tested?
What turns this from a hustle into a scam is the doctored COA. “Buy at your own risk” is even still applicable to the legal market. But good hash makers don’t need to lie about what’s in their product. Go to any of these sites for “loophole” THCa and check out their COAs…what a joke
Did the lab do this? I’m not sure. But they’re a pretty big company that a lot of consumers rely on for accurate COAs. . If they’re willing to risk it all for this dude, then our entire safety net is compromised—for what?—for illegal states that don’t care about quality so someone can make a quick dollar
The falsified COA gives uninformed consumers a false sense of security that not only what they’re buying is good, but also that it’s legal to be shipped and received. What they receive is not what is advertised. If this happens in the legal market and they’re caught, those people get called out
That’s why this is just part 1
