I've been paid early by my employer due to the Christmas break, payment was today and over £1k as it included payment for the holiday I was entitled to whilst off sick. I get paid UC on 27th Dec and can view my statement on 21st of what I will be paid.
I thought that payment was a month in arrears, so that the amount of UC I receive on 27th Dec will be based on my wages from November's pay - around £180. If its actually based on today's pay I'll receive nothing.
I can just about afford to put the money for my rent aside but it's been a difficult month with having an unexpected hospital admission (having to pay for clothing, toiletries and transport for my brother to see me in hospital) and paying off loans I'd had to take out whilst waiting for my PIP to be approved. My PIP would be paid 4 days after my rent is due and my landlord is not exactly flexible so I'm terrified of missing a payment. Can anyone advise me on whether I will be looking at £0 UC this month or the ~£600 I was expecting?
Sorry if I am being dim here, I have looked online and tried to work it out from the gov.uk website but I can't 😪
