Post Body

Hello,

I've been on PIP for over 3 years and I'm about to have an assessment next Monday, for PIP. I'm feeling slightly anxious, as I'm worried PIP may get cut. I'm currently on the higher care rate and even if they put me to standard care, I wouldn't be too upset about that. I'm worried about all of my PIP being cut. 3 years ago, I wasn't asked if I work and this time around they did ask me.

I only work part time (2 days or 15hrs) but I'm worried, that may play a role in my PIP getting declined. I've been skimming information about disability benefits reform and I'm worried. It's not that I don't want to work full time, I just get burnt out fast due to autism and some traumas I've experienced, which have caused some mental health difficulties. I'm happy with my part time role but feel I may be penalised because of it. I don't want to sound like I'm taking away from others who do need PIP but I cannot handle the work force, like I used to.

I also get UC and LCWRA but don't think my LCWRA will be affected.
