Sorry for making so many posts about this lately - I don’t have any experience with this type of thing! ^
I know my claim was rejected as they told me over the phone, however I just got the letter today. Opening it up, it is JUST the assesement report with a copy of the assessment I had.
I was told in the past that when I got this letter it would include information on how to handle the mandatory reconsideration aswell as a detailed point report elaborating on why things weren’t rewarded. Reading the assessment through it really feels like I should’ve be awarded but I suppose they know best TT.
I’m going to ring them tommorow (I got home to the letter at 5 which was not convinient since they’ve closed :,( ) And ask for some advice but has anybody else ever experienced this? I mean was this even supposed to be attached?
Sorry If I’m being clueless here! Thanks!!
It’s normal to feel confused about your PIP claim. You should have received a detailed breakdown of your points and info on how to handle the mandatory reconsideration with your assessment report. Call them tomorrow to request the missing information. You're not alone in this—many people experience similar issues. Good luck!
