I got arrested for suspected 2nd dui. I was at the beach and I had a few drinks with my girlfriend. I was driving fine but I stopped like 6inches past a intersection line and got pulled over. I passed all the sobriety tests but then they asked me to blow and I denied because even tho I felt fine, I did have drinks earlier. They took me in and did a blood test on me like 30 min later.

I did not admit to drinking , but my girlfriend did and they also found some empty containers in my car , and bottle with a little bit of vodka in the trunk.

They said I won’t get my BAC results until 10 days , and they also Said I need to call the dmv and tell them I was arrested for suspicion of a dui.

Should I try to get a lawyer ASAP ? Or Wait till I get my results for BAC. And what’s going to happen if I inform the dmv about the arrest ?

I still have my driver license, but they also gave me a temp driver license
