what lens should I buy

I have a rebel t7 with the 18-55 kit lens and im looking to get a new lens. I have roughly 650 dollar budget. Im looking for a lense for walking around normally during the day but hopefully can take decent nighttime photos. I only photograph outdoors as of now. If you have any suggestions that are around 1000 im willing to save
