New drz I’ve had since the start of June, 1100 miles on it and it ran perfectly fine today until the last ride home. The previous day I had ran out of fuel and felt similar to the behavior I felt today. While riding around 65 70 I felt it lose power just like with no gas but I had filled it up pretty good yesterday. Battery’s good no electrical flickering or signs of it dying. Only thing I noticed was the gas tank was really hard to turn right to lock and turn left to unlock and it was repeatedly doing the losing power bit. I went to the gas station and refueled to the BRIMMMM. Then I had felt the gas cap turn and lock like normal and I was able to finish the rest of the 10 remaining miles. My hypothesis is that since it’s still new. Only been on the street. It has to be a problem with my gas tank or the vacuum seal on the cap . I highly doubt it’s the peacock because I checked the hoses and also this only happened after I fully ran out of gas.
