Really interested in starting riding/getting my license is the drz400sm a good starter bike?

This one caught my eye for sure only 4500CAD so 3500 USD, so pretty good price, on marketplace they usually go for 5 to 7k even for older models this ones a 2010 around 40k km (close to 25k miles). Thinking about buying it as a starter, maybe do some small mods while the winter goes away. What do yall think?
