[M4A] Literate and committed roleplayer looking for partners!
Author Summary
Delusory_Eureka is a male looking for anyone
Post Body

Hiya, everyone!

Call me Red. I'm a long-time writer, roleplayer, and 31-year-old guy who lives along the USA's West Coast. I've been writing for 13 years, most of it for system-based RPGs like World of Darkness and D&D. I've had the good fortune to learn from and roleplay with a lot of really awesome partners over the years. In the last couple, I've branched out from RPing horror and fantasy to erotica, although I've enjoyed reading spicy things for much longer.

What I'm Like as a Partner: I'd describe myself thusly.

  • I'm passionate. When a partner or prompt stokes my interest, my engagement and enthusiasm are boundless. I've written multi-thousand-page roleplays over the better part of a decade with partners I've really clicked with. I don't expect that every partner will want to write something that long (or long-term), and that's okay--I enjoy shorter-term roleplays for what they are too. Whatever we decide to write, I'll give it my all if it gets me fired up.

  • I'm reciprocal. While my maximum engagement level is very high, it also mirrors my partner's. I knew a friend who could write pages of prose in response to his partner's one-liners. That's not me! If a partner gives me low-effort posts, they'll get low-effort posts back. If my partner gives me high-effort posts, they'll get high-effort posts back. My enthusiasm waxes and wanes in proportion to how invested I feel my partner is.

  • I'm detail-oriented. I like settings, stories, and characters that feel believable and internally consistent. Faster than light travel? Happy to suspend disbelief. Spaceships powered by cum? Okay, that feels silly. I want whatever story we tell (be it simple or complex) to feel like it could plausibly happen, even in a fictional setting. Characters' actions and motivations should feel consistent and shouldn't bend to serve the plot. Your or my character is kidnapped by a rapacious sex fiend? Awesome. The sex fiend doesn't take the kidnappee's phone, and they don't use it to call for help? That's lazy storytelling. (Plus, the story doesn't have to end if they do! Maybe the sex fiend moves the kidnappee somewhere else, or maybe there's a scene where they bluff the police that nothing is the matter.)

  • I'm character-driven. All stories, smut included, are richer for me if I have an emotional connection to the characters and care about what happens to them. I like it when they have interests, aspirations, and scenes outside of sex. If a character is kidnapped and turned into a sex slave, and we've established they're going to medical school, have a boy/girlfriend they met at a figure skating show, and have aspirations of making the world a better place? That makes their fate as a sex slave hit home. That lends real pathos and desperation to their struggles to escape. (Conversely, totally different story if they're a lazy and self-centered slacker who's squandered their life and never achieved their dreams: maybe this is the fate they deserve?)

My Kinks and Preferences: Okay, let's get into the fun stuff!

  • I'm a submissive by temperament and looking for a dominant partner who'll enjoy taking control and imposing their will on me. I can have fun with a dom who's gentle, sadistic, or (preferably) both. I love the mental whiplash of going from cruel to kind: contrast is an effective storytelling device across many genres (the best horror stories have moments of levity and normalcy). The aforesaid whiplash is sure to keep me on my toes, wanting to placate my partner (I've seen their gentle side) but not certain if I can: who knows when the cruelty will return? Savor the kindness while it lasts.
  • With that said, I'd be perfectly happy with an exclusively cruel or kind dom if you seem like an engaging writer whose personality clicks with mine. That's the big thing!
  • I might even be open to domming, for the right prompt. I've written doms in the past. Prompts that bring out the dom in me are pretty few and far between, though! They'd need to really stand out.

  • My three biggest kinks are chastity (with its attendant tease/denial, edging, and orgasm control), feminization/sissification (especially with high heels), and general domination/submission.

  • Why do I like these kinks? I love the loss of power. Someone's sexual pleasure, procreative power, and masculinity are among the most intimate things they can surrender to another person. I love the thought of being out in public, seeing other attractive women, and feeling unyielding steel against my sex as I start to grow firm. I am reminded that I am impotent and cannot fulfill my essential function as a man. The bra straps under my clothes remind me these women would just laugh at me, if they saw me for the emasculated creature I am. I love the feeling of frustrated arousal and knowing that only the mistress who holds my key can grant me pleasure and release: other women cannot do this, so it is better not to think about them. My mistress is my world now. I love the thought of being teased constantly, driven absolutely mad with desire, and falling deeper under her spell every time she laughingly tells me "no." I groan in frustration and then ask how I may serve her. What choice do I have? In time, I'll learn to take my pleasure from her pleasure. In time, just being told "good boy" will be a reward in of itself. In time, once I am truly broken, I will thank her for doing this to me. She knows what's best.

  • Some assorted other kinks I enjoy include armbinders, begging, blackmail, body worship, collars, corsets, cuckolding, cuddling/aftercare, femdom, gags, high heels (on my partner, outside feminization), humiliation (public or private), leashes, leather, pegging, pet play, physical bondage, power exchanges, shoe worship, spanking, taller partners, verbal degradation, and many more. I'm open to trying out most kinks at least once. If my partner isn't into all of mine, that's cool! I've listed plenty don't need to explore them all in one prompt.

  • My limits are amputation, diapers, furries, futa, gore, hormones, minors, scat, vomit, vore, and watersports. If something comes up in RP that I'm not into, I'll let you know.

  • Gender-wise, I prefer MxF pairings with myself as the male. I'm potentially open to vice versa, FxF, or MxM; I've written them all in the past. My partner on the other side of the screen can be whatever gender. As long as you're friendly, literate, and open to my kinks, we could be a match!

  • Setting-wise, I prefer slice of life modern-day Earth. I'm open to including supernatural elements if my partner is into them. Settings that are radically different from modern Earth (post-apocalyptic, science fiction, quasi-historic D&D fantasy) aren't usually my jam, at least for ERP. Still, I'd be open to an exceptional enough prompt or partner.

Partners I'm looking For: Speaking of that. They'll ideally be...

  • Friendly. This goes without saying! I like being able to chat with my partner, enjoy a conversation outside of whatever scene we're RPing, and maybe even make friends. The ERP is why we're here, but we don't only have to be each other's kink dispensers.

  • Close-ish to my age range. This isn't a hard requirement: I'm happy to roleplay with anyone over the age of 18 if our personalities click. I've just had better past experiences with people closer to 30 than 20.

  • Skilled writers. This also goes without saying: particularly germane for me is proper spelling and grammar. I'm okay with typos! We all make them, me included. We're only human. But regularly not ending sentences with periods, placing commas on the wrong side of the quotation mark, or capitalizing words that aren't proper nouns? These sorts of things repel me like sunlight does a vampire.

Posting Itty-Gritty: So, how do we want to RP with each other?

  • My posting lengths vary. Sometimes multiple paragraphs are good. Sometimes one-liners are good. Sometimes in between is good. Generally, I think longer posts are better when opening a scene or describing important moments between characters. Shorter posts are better for back-and-forth dialogue (usually after an RP has taken off). I prefer a more frequent rate of shorter replies to something like one long reply a day.
  • Minor digression: I'm also a firm believer that quantity =/= quality. Purple prose is a thing. It's something I've actively sought to trim from my writing as I've gotten older. I believe a good writer is economical with their words and tries to use each one for maximum effect, much like an experienced cook seeks to use the right balance of seasonings rather than dumping in as many as possible. (It's a minor pet peeve of mine how many roleplayers equate "literate" with "writes long posts." Those aren't the same thing!)
  • Unlike most of my other preferences, this one is not flexible. If you want a partner who'll always write paragraph long posts, I'm a bad fit.

  • We both have lives outside of RP. Sometimes there will be other things I need (or want) to do, and I'm sure the same is true for you. That's okay! On some days, you or I might be a more active poster. On some days, you or I might be a less active poster. As long as the RP makes steady progress, I'm happy.

  • If I expect to be absent for an extended period, I'll give you a heads up so you know I haven't lost interest in the RP. ("Hey, I'm swamped with RL right now, might be X long before I can post again.") I'd appreciate the same courtesy from my partners. No one likes feeling ghosted!

  • I prefer to write in third person and present tense. I'm open to writing in past tense. I'm less open to writing in first person: that'd need a pretty exceptional partner.

  • As far as platforms, I prefer to write over Discord. I'm happy to show you how to set up a server if you aren't familiar with the platform. Reddit chat isn't my first choice, but once again, I'd be willing to try it out for the right partner. (Really, that's what so much comes down to!)

That was a long profile. If you made it this far, thanks for reading!
