About me:

Female, in my early 40s, looking for male partners (generally). I prefer to RP with men closer to my age, but that being said, I’ve been surprised by the younger generation from time to time. I'm into women too - so don’t let that deter you :)

What I’m looking for:

In a RP - Long-term RPs - generally everything I write and do is for the storytelling. I like the build-up, I like the plot, I like the emotional interaction with the characters, and I love weaving a story together that also happens to have sex (lots of really hot sex, generally!).

In a Partner - Good grasp of the English language, punctuation, grammar and spelling. I’m by no means perfect, but at least put in an effort. Someone who has a sense of humour and isn’t afraid to use it on occasion. I like to throw curve balls into RPs, and am more than happy to have you do the same - the more complicated and dramatic the plot, the better!

Make me laugh and I’ll love you forever. Respect above all else. I like a bit of dominance, assertiveness, and confidence - I’m not going to do all the work when it comes to sex or storyline. If you’re extremely submissive, we are not going to be compatible.

In a Genre - Favourites are Romance, Fantasy, Supernatural, Space/Sci-Fi, Apocalypse, Historical, and I like to throw some comedy into everything for good measure.

In a Prompt Reply - A short introduction about yourself (or a link to your DPP profile). 2-4 paragraph (longer initially if you want to establish backstory) continuation from the end of my prompt.

Happy to write in first or third person - though I prefer 1st; if I write a prompt in first but you want to reply in third, that’s totally fine and I’ll switch and run with it if I like it. You can expect a response from me if you put in a measured effort to meet these requests - even if it’s just to say “thank you but this isn’t quite hitting the mark.” One liners, invites to chat not RP, and dick pics will all be ignored (the latter will also be reported and blocked).

If you're a female and really, really want to respond to a M4F prompt, I'm happy for you to play a male as per the prompt, or if you think it can be done while keeping within the storyline (or close to it) you can respond with a female character and let's see if it'll work.

In a regular Response - I like 2-4 paragraph replies generally - this can be negotiated, and completely depends on the scene and where the story is (sometimes longer is needed, and sometimes short is). There is no expectation for you to meet the length that I write, when the scene is ready to be passed on, do it, don’t force the length either way.

My schedule varies a lot due to real life commitments (of which I have many and will not apologise for). I aim for a reply every 24-48 hours, but sometimes it might be a bit longer. If it’s going to be longer than a week, I will discuss this. I have had many partners in the past, and pretty much no one has ever complained about my availability. Likewise, I extend you the same courtesy.

Control wise - I probably fall somewhere in between the Tolerant to Sympathetic range on character control. If you slip further than that, we’re not likely to last as partners. Respect my barbie, and I'll respect yours

I prefer to start in PM (please don't send chat requests) and can either stay there, or move to Google Docs. I have discord but I really don't see how that would work for longterm RP, but it might be good for short chats around plot/storyline/characters if you don't want to do that over PM.

Time Constraints

Thanks to COVID I'm on my computer, a lot, for work - I might be around and able to chat (and sometimes not) but that doesn't mean I have time to write a prompt response just because I'm online. I have real life commitments that take priority over DPP and I don't apologize for that. I generally aim for one response every 24 hours. I almost exclusively RP in long-term stories so I anticipate that this shouldn't be a problem with my partners. If it is, we're not going to be very well matched. All this is generally detailed in my prompts.

As such, I'm unlikely to respond to random "I like this, can we chat and maybe consider writing something together" requests. Sorry, I just don't have the time. If you have a prompt already published that you want me to consider (maybe I missed it), feel free to send me a link and I'll see if it catches my interest.
