Hello there!

I wanted to get some general thoughts on 'fast forwarding' in prompts. I only use that term because I'm not sure if there is a known term for moving from a seemingly normal situation to right in the middle of sex. An example would be from one of my prompts below:

"What do you want for Father's Day?" my daughter asked as we sat together at the kitchen table after dinner. With it being the summer after her freshman year at college, I guess she had some extra money to spend from working at one of the coffee shops.

I appreciated the thought, but there was nothing I wanted.

"Stop," I said, putting a hand up and shaking my head. "You don't need to get me anything. I have you and your brother, and that's all I need."

The answer brought a warm smile to my wife's face.

I paused for a second, then continued.

"And if you're going to get me something anyway...no ties, please. I have way more than I need," I chuckled.

She exhaled, almost as if she was disappointed in my response. She turned to her mother and shrugged, then looked back at me.

"Ugh...y'know, you're so hard sometimes..." she laughed.

Two weeks later, on Father's Day...

"Holy FUCK! You're so fucking hard! Unh!"

I'm not sure how it happened, but my daughter was on all fours in front of me on the bed I shared with my wife. Her "Daddy's Girl" top was pulled up and her bra down, freeing her breasts. Her little jean skirt was hiked up, thong pulled to the side.

The tie she got me as a gag gift hung loosely around her neck -- while I enjoyed holding onto it while pounding her from behind, it paled in comparison to the feeling of tugging on her braids.

Somewhere within her yelps, grunts and moans, she made a whimpered offer to make me a Daddy once again. Moments later, I would fulfill my end of the bargain.

Time would tell if she would hold up hers.

Is something like the above appealing to a reader/potential partner? On one hand, I can see this building some excitement as it shows where the story is ultimately heading, but on the other, I know that it can come off as inflexible.

As a writer, I think incorporating scenes like this can be pretty hot, and I've seen this type of thing play out in movies/TV shows, but I don't want to scare off any potential partners.

I'm working on a new prompt, and I keep going back and forth on whether to write the build without the resulting sex or with it.
